Metro Design
The layout in the Metro theme is created with a Tile custom post type which allows you to mimic the Windows 8 Metro design by showing colourful tiles. The tiles can display various content types including: text, buttons, gallery sliders, images and maps. With the inbuilt shortcodes support you can also display any dynamic content such as sliders, buttons, videos, maps, Flickr galleries, Twitter feeds, recent posts, etc. The banner and map Tile has optional flip-over content layer, and you can specify the size of each tile: small, medium or large to produce the Windows 8 metro layout.
